DEC 9

Pageo Holiday Market @ Pageo Lavender Farm, 9:00 am-4:00 pm

Pageo’s first pop up market! There will be a variety of local vendors selling handmade goods, food, crafts, jewelry, fine art, and more — all in time for Christmas! Free mimosas, champagne and lavender sachets while they last!

DEC 14 & 21

Christmas Shopping Nights @ The Greenery Nursery, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm

The Greenery Garden Shop will be open late the nights of 12/14 and 12/21 to help you get ready for the holidays! Be it setting up beautiful mantel décor, picking out a special gift or putting together a custom gift basket, the gals in the gift shop will be there to help.

Taste of the Holidays @ Village Fresh Market, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Join Village Fresh Market for a Taste of the Holidays! From 4-7pm on December 14th, stop by for tastings and samplings of delicious holiday goodies and local flavors from local food vendors. Grab some yummy stocking stuffers and enjoy this time with friends!

Holiday Trunk Show @ Carnegie Arts Center, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

The Carnegie Arts Center will be hosting artists and crafters who will be sharing their wares at a pop-up show in the Carnegie Lobby and Studios. Paired with their popular Holiday Pajama Party, it is sure to be a fun night of cookies, cocoa, a holiday classic movie, and shopping!

Through Dec 12th, Barre Defined is an official Toys for Tots drop-off location! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate in studio and receive a FREE class for yourself, or gift it to a friend! Class must be used within 30 days.

*Gift certificates are always available! Call or stop by the studio to purchase – they make the best stocking stuffers!

Prodigal Sons & Daughters hosts their First Annual Holiday Punch-Off Contest at Cornerstone Covenant Church, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Who makes the best non-alcoholic holiday punch?? Come sample yummy offerings from around the community and find out who will be crowned the first Prodigal Sons & Daughters Holiday Punch Champion! 

DEC 11

Stained Glass Art @ Turlock Public Library, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Join the Turlock Library for a fun class that will showcase easy to learn techniques to stain glass. Participants will create unique ornaments suitable for any occasion!

This program is designed for ages 16 and up.

DEC 11-17

Balanced Books will be hosting a Digital Scavenger Hunt on Facebook the week of 12/11 – 12/17!

Every day, they will post an obscure picture of a landmark around town – the first person to guess the landmark or location correctly will be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket full of items/ gift cards to local retailers and restaurants!

**The 1st place basket will be a $200 value and the 2nd place basket will be a $100 value! Winners announced on Monday 12/18 via Facebook Live

Paint Nite @ Los Gallos Mexican Restaurant, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Mexican food, wine, and painting with your closest friends? Sign up ASAP!

Mix Mingle & Make, benefiting Soroptimist of Turlock @ Emporium, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Mix & mingle with wine & cheese!

Ranch of Holidays Ugly Sweater Contests @ Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, @7:30 pm There will be a nightly contest at 7:30pm so don’t be afraid to go all out! Winners will get prizes from the Stocking Stuffer Central vendors!

Rancho Sisquoc Wine Tasting @ Village Fresh Market, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Village Fresh Market will be hosting a wine tasting that features Santa Maria, CA’s Rancho Sisquoc wine! Come try one of their local wines on Friday, December 15.

DEC 17

Santas, Sleighs and Spirits @ The Udder Place, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Come out to the Udder Place for live music, a photo booth, food, fun, and more! Bring a new, unwrapped gift and receive a free drink ticket! All proceeds benefit the Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Drive.

Paint Nite Pizza Factory @ Pizza Factory, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Take a break from all of the shopping and treat yourself to a wine & paint sesh! Oh, and PIZZA!

DEC 22

Corbin Cash Liquor Tasting @ Village Fresh Market, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

On Dec. 22, Village Fresh Market will be hosting a liqueur tasting from a local distillery. Come try their Sweet Potato Liqueur, Sweet Potato vodka, and Merced Rye Whiskey from 3-6pm.

Turlock Nursery School Santa Celebration @ Hilmar Covenant Church, 10:00am to 1:00pm
This annual Christmas event will feature a performance by TNS kids as well as profession pictures with Santa, kids’ crafts, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, vendors, and fun!

Family Craft Night @ Crowell Elementary School, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

DEC 14

Ranch of Holidays (previously known as Ranch of Horror) is going to be hosting a Christmas Extravaganza at the Turlock fairgrounds. This event is going to kick off with a Dinner with Santa and Friends on December 14th!

*Proceeds from the dinner will support the Ruf foundation, which helps families in crisis situations. Dinner will be from 5-9 pm and reservations are required. Call 209-947-8999 to make a reservation at the cheergrounds!

DEC 14-23

At the Ranch of Holidays, there will be 2 attractions available for families to enjoy: the Hot Cocoa Hayride (sponsored by Happy Hour Events) and Santa’s Village – a customized walk through first view of the North Pole.

Family Friday: How the Grinch Stole Christmas/Pajama Party! @ Carnegie Arts Center, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Enjoy warm cocoa, cookies and popcorn as we create some holiday themed art and watch the 1966 animated classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Fun for all ages! Family Friday is presented free thanks to our generous sponsors at Off Center Thrift & Gift.

Children will make and decorate snowflakes using a variety of provided materials. All ages welcome, but children under 4 must have direct parental supervision.

Salvation Army Christmas Dinner @ Salvation Army Community Center, 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
A traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served, and Santa Claus with be there with activities for the kids. Selfies with Santa, too!

Escape: A Narnia Adventure @ Turlock Public Library, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Based on the beloved books by C.S. Lewis, the Turlock Library is happy to present a themed “escape room” experience. This program is for ages 10 and older. Due to the nature of the program, advance registration required; call 209-664-8100 to reserve your spot.

Turlock Schools have again partnered with the City of Turlock to host a Farm to Family Feast to celebrate our Farm and to kick off a healthy New Year.

The children will enjoy a special children’s story as they celebrate Jesus’s birthday! There will be carol singalongs and candlelight & cupcakes!

Christmas Eve – Candlelight & Carols @ First United Methodist Church, 11:00 pm

As we gather for this sacred hour of Advent we will share Communion as well as carols. We will conclude the service with candlelight in celebration of our Savior’s birth.
